Valentine’s Installation in The Crossroads of The World
If you hear the name “New York City”, you definitely know one iconic place there. Formerly known as “Longacre Square”, now it is better known by the world with the name “Times Square”. This intersection is the meeting place for Broadway and Seventh Avenue road, and includes the area between West 42nd to West 47th Street.Known also as “The crossroads of the world”, because this crossroads is an intersection where many people from around the world who live in New York, flooded with their own activities.
As it manager, Times Square NYC, for several years also has hosted events associated with what is currently celebrated by the citizen of New York. One of them is Valentine’s Day. For several years, times square has been decorated by the installation of symbols associated with Valentine’s Day, heart-shaped symbol, and become so attractive views for the New Yorkers.
Those installations are the work of the winners, from the annual design competition which held, special to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Time Square. Here are some images from the attractive Valentine’s installation in Times Square, from year to year.
