From ASID (American Society of Interior Designer) informed that, ASID has launched its official call for entries for the 2012 ASID Design Awards. The ASID Design Awards represent the highest level of excellence in the interior design community. These awards honor those who have made significant contributions toward the advancement of the profession, while exemplifying a commitment to enhancing quality of life.

The Categories are ASID Designer of Distinction, ASID Design for Humanity Award, Nancy Vincent McClelland Merit Award and ASID Innovation Award.

The jury members for 2012 ASID Design Awards are Deborah Lloyd Forrest (FASID Principal and Founder, FORRESTPERKINS), Nila R. Leiserowitz, FASID-IIDA (Managing Principal, Gensler), Michael McCoy (McCoy & McCoy) and Amanda Dameron (Executive Editor, Dwell).

Winners will be honored at an awards celebration to take place during the Society’s annual conference. Winners will also be featured in ICON magazine.
